hey wut r ur reccomendations to "beef up" a d30 and 8.25? i was thinking of getting 44's but way too much work wen it comes to fabrication and shortening it.

tj shafts with some good u-joints or the shafts you have if its newer then 97, or the arb super 30, and alloys in the back. I run 33's with tj shafts, and the 27 spline 8.25 with alloys both locked and dont have any problems.

i have a 98 sport. so upgrade the shaft in the 30 and the u joints? and the 8.25 leave stock or upgrade the shafts?

I've broken two front shafts in my D30. I'm only running 30x9.50's too. No locker.

First time I snapped the passenger side shaft.

Second time I sheered one of the ears off of the driver's side stub shaft.

Dunno heh.

The first time, it LOOKED like that ujoint failed first. Who know. The second time the ujoint survived. I don't use AutoZone ujoints anymore though.
