can you help on lathe brands?

Our company wants to buy a new lathe machine from a manufacturer, and I find the following top 10 ranking list post here:
https://www.machinemfg.com/top-lathe...manufacturers/

Can you guys give me any suggestions about this?

Re: can you help on lathe brands?

Being a master tool and die maker, my first question is.....what is it used for?

Low volume/high volume?
Size of bed/length and swing over the bed?
Turret tool holder?
Clamping size?
Manual or CNC?
Materials you plan to machine?
Single point threading?
Expected final part tolerances?
Budget?
