Code P1698 any help?

This code came up at AutoZone for my '99 and they can't find it. I'm having problems with the (auto)trans shifting. Anyone seen this code or can direct me to a source (online possibly) that would list them?

No CCD/J1850 Message From TCM

No CCD/J1850 messages received from the electronic
transmission control module (EATX) or the Aisin
transmission controller.

- although now that I'm about to post it I believe I read someone said the later model TCM was located elsewhere...passenger's side kick panel possibly?

Was just under the dashboard of my '00 and there's a module that says Aisin-Warner on it underneath the drivers side, to the right of the steering column.
