Unibody

I've done some searching but can't find exactly what I'm looking for. We've all seen the episodes of "Trucks", where they strip the vehicle clear down to the chassis, and sand blast it, paint it, put on all suspension components, wheels, tires, etc. on it and simply lower the body on, connect it, etc. Can this be done with an Xj and in the mean time strengthen the unibody? I don't think I've ever seen a picture of a stripped XJ, so not sure what it looks like. Probably just wishful thinking?

Unibody means it doesnt have a frame. Meaning it basically just has everything bolted to the "body".

Could an XJ be placed on a frame form another vehicle, or does any company make a frame for them?

It could be placed on another frame but why?
I have seen a pic on this board of an XJ on jig, and the frame rails were sleeved. I can't remember who it was but you could do a search.

That is the one I was talking about.

I know a guy who put his XJ on a K5 frame, along with just about everyother component. (engine, suspension, axles, tranny, etc. etc. etc.)
