Just picked up some manual seats to replace the power seats in my '92. I did a few searches here on how to remove the recline lever from the front seat back as I was wanting to removing the seat covers to throw in the wash.
Anyway, I couldn't find anything here so I googled it and found this: http://www.4x4xplor.com/xj-seat-tilt.html Pretty detailed instructions on de-skinning the seats although the main idea was the tilt cable repair on a sport.
