Late/Early model bumpers
Are the center section of the stock bumpers interchangeagle between the late and early model years? I know the end caps are different but what about the steel center sections?

Re: Late/Early model bumpers
Nope, they mount to the brackets differently... but if you swapped the proper brackets with the steel bumper it should work.

Re: Late/Early model bumpers
As Mark state above, use the mounting brackets that come with the late model bumper. My friend with an '89 MJ was able to use the front bumper and brackets off my '98, with no problems. He was able to adapt his existing MJ end caps on it too...

Although I'm curious about both I'm really interested in the rear setup. |
