Welp...managed to rid myself of looney tunes ex. Few years back. Fought financial ruins. Bought my home back. Have 2 kickass lil twin 5yr olds.. and now im in the up an up. Time to haul out my beloved jeep from hibernation!! Ive been outta the game 7ish or more years. Plans are: install my 35s. New spicer wheel joints. Oil and diff fluids. New steering heims. Nss and tps took a crap. Grease everything. What do i use on currie joints? And lastly... flares..i dont want to lay down $$$ on bushwacker flat flares. Anything better.stronger or fab place with kit flares? Ill need 2 front floorpans. Whats best route? Cant wait

I just got done building my own flares over the weekend they were fairly simple to do i used 14 gauge (5/64”)metal for the armor and 11 gauge (1/8”)

Ya I thought about that - I used nutserts in the body to bolt the armor to, then the flare is welded to the armor. I will keep these on for highway travel and on the roads to work and back but when I get to a trail or in the woods that’s gonna be tight I just unbolt them and take them off

Came out nice man! I really dig the stance- my 35x12.5s are mich to "tucked". Are those 15x10 rims? And/ or whats the back spacing?

I was thinking 15x8- 3.75 bs.. But i want them to be stanced like yours is

Ya they are 15x10 -3.75 which is a -44 offset
If you go to a 15x8 -3.75 it will only be a -24 or close to that offset give or take a few depending on the wheel this a pic before the flares were put on and one I took just now flexing it out lol

Ya man i dig it... Thats how my zj looked.. Xj just not dign the 15x8s. I thought back spacing on some new 15x8s would fix it- everyone hardcore swears 15x8 > 15x10 when it comes to low pressure tires off road- 15x8 keeps the bead on better...but the contact path is lower and it would appear to be less stable imo

Ya - I run about 10 psi on a load range c (6) ply tire and never had a problem - wider stance I like it. But I don’t get too nuts lol

You need to host the pic somewhere. Imgur seems popular these days.

Once you have your pic hosted you have to copy and paste its location.
