Is there a way to use the TPS from an HO 4.0 using the Renix computer? I recently finished up my 4.6 rebuild for my '90, using a '93 4.0. I made a spacer out of aluminum, bored a hole in the middle to accept the screw for the old style TPS, and slit on the other end to fit over the blade end of the throttle plate shaft. It seems to be sticking somewhere and moving around ( each time I check the output voltage it keeps changing).
So...how does the new style TPS work? Or if it IS impossible to use it, has anyone else adapted the old style TPS differently?
