You're planning on a spool or welding the front? Lot of folks would scoff at even the notion... idk, I have a grizzly up front and selectable hubs. I don't see much difference Than if it was a full time locker with selectable hubs. When I lock in the hubs and put it in 4x4 it's nearly always locked. If I'm easy on the throttle around a bend (rarel lol) I MIGHT hear it ratchet.
Is this truck build just a soft spot I'm your heart? Man I'd have a had time not swapping front axles with the jeep. Granted the work to get both in is silly, and getting 1tons for the xj waaaay more smarterer

Yes I couldn't spool or weld a jeep axle. My grizzly is same. Only ounce in a blue miin feel it unlock.

We had two of these fords when I was a kid. Might turn rhis ford into my welding offroad recovery rig if it can handle the 1500lb welding machine

It did almost lose its axles to the xj. I think rcvs in a 44 will make a killer combo

The fuel pump took a crap on my cummins. I havent had time to fix it so im driving the ford more renewed intrest.

Im pretending to be a welder for a few days this trucks making the computer from mtn home to Meridian

Been having a slow leak. Offcourse the bead is leaking. Local tire shop ripped these beads even replaced one tire already.

Got to thinking I really like this chicken coop, its taught me alot.

The damn fords been in the way though ive redesigned my shock towers to accept 2.5" coilovers fabbed a double tringulated 4 link and am working on link seperation tuning.

All I gots a say is its badass the foa 2.5x14 coilovers even actually work pretty well and are holding the oil inside. This jeeps handles the desert like its on rails.
handles side walks and square edge bumps at speed like a beast but rocks the size of VW bugs tend to cave the front end in at 50. Good thing its just a dream

Xj tire machine welp that didnt work. Case tire machine

My cummins has burned off another set of rubbers

Putting the thunderer on it in 295 70 17 getting ready for snowmagedon.

I could see running this tire on the jeep. I payed 1000 shipped will mount myself running balance bead.

Kinda done with tire Shops 1500-2000 for 4 mounted and there pushing cheap stuff I can buy for 900 less.

Picked up a ln25 will fit right in with my chicken coop fab.

Tomorrow id like to do some knob cranking to to fine tune the chicken shit.

Set it up on 035 thinking I shoulda done 045 its very different like a pile of rods in one hand self feeding. Let off the trigger and they melt outa your hand.

Im burning.

Even with the globluation I can put down some decent weld. But ive been unable to switch to negative polarity.

Gun is hot but nothing more then a bump on voltmeter I did run stick at negative polarity big 40 burns the rod very well so I dont think its on uts end.

Reading the manual to see if I missed something

snow dance payed off I guess. Havent done much real work in the last 2 months pushed a couple storms that dumped in town and on the mtn.

Heating with wood now so ive become a wood scrounger. This log I yanked home from northside by dennies

Thought I might drive the xj more but it runs so cold cold Luke 120. Might change thermostat. Tool me 3 on the ford to get one that would actually open and close.
I find alot of thermostat just kinda hang open most the time regardless of temp.

Anak what have you been doing. Do you need dirt yet?
