My jeep build with photos over the last few years.

Fuel tank, usualy need to refuel before getting off the mtn. I have a pretty active job. Hoping im alittle smarter and have some fear in me now..
After my crash I couldn't drive or do alot of things without help.
Fuel tools shovel avalanche becon Radios were pretty set up. Have enough stuff to dig a shelter and survive for a few days. Ill likly also pack a bag on me with camera gear and other stuff.
These things cover alot of ground in remote locations. Absolutely amazing the places theyl go.

Wait wait wait...

We're gonna ask about the extra jug on the subframe but not the rotor *buried* in the concrete?:laugh2:
I'm sure there's a good reason, I've just never seen that before lol

that's not a rotor in the concrete. it looks like an old lift cylinder for a air over hydraulic cylinder inground lift but the upper lift arm bracket was removed.
just my 3 cents:hang:

First real ride.

The 76 is drivable finally.
Survived a dump run actually runs pretty good lots more get and go than the jeep 4.0

Working on bumper. Yes I cut the lower fenders off.
Have a few more bars to toss on and tie wrap around to frame. I love saying frame.

Also straighrend drag link well kinda got it straighter than it was.
Rear bumper might stay stock for now.

Put all door latches in. Doors actually work. Need door seals and misc marker lights and stuff. Figure out seatbelts.

Thinking itl fit 35s with no lift, maybe miller lock the front axle and leave rear alone for now.
Ohhh order a read knuckle to do steering and track bar then itl drive straight. I want to 3 link it but might just leave it radius arm for now it kinda rides well as is. Needs radius arm bushings at axle probly the 7deg ones

On kinda on topic. Ive worn out the dual rate spring dividers on the King shocks
Itls only like 300 to order dividers that will actually last. Ouch

Ive never been so sad to see the snow going snow danke everyone we need one more good storm

I was wondering what you have been up to. Figured you were having fun freezing your tail off with that new bike and had forgotten all about 4 wheeled vehicles.

+1 on "we need another storm". The ground is much too dry for this time of year. Not a good picture.

Haha yes I have forgotten well almost.
Is it snowing over there? Working in mtn home and its snowing like 6" an hour or is that 6 flakes an hour.
What have you been up to?

I have been getting the 6 flakes an hour stuff...step out of the shop and it is sunny. Step out 10 minutes later and random white flakes are on my saw. It has started to come down a bit more aggressively now that I have stopped for lunch.

At the moment I am trying to fabricobble some protection for the tail lights on my car trailer. Need to go pick up my '95 XJ, and I have no doubt the lights won't survive another trip through the brush.

Yes aggressive snow now.

Fabricobble, I like it

I guess I should specify snow for the mtns when snow dancing

Crazy what 50 miles does. Freeway must be closed. Freeway traffic appears to be being routed through town. Appears to be another squal coming

Ford poser shot with its semi unfinished bumper. Bumper Center is 1/4" and boxed to stiffin around winch bolt pattern. Need to bolt winch on then figure out what I want for revovery points(cheap ones)

This project has sucked up more money than I had planned to get to this drivable stage.

Probly going to try foa shocks 12 or 14" and maybe 1-3" coils to lift front alittle then fab shackle reversal to lift rear 1" ish to level with front maybe 1" higher.

It has a broken ujoint in the front or some kinda limited slip thing. I might put a spool in it if theyre available for the 44 or weld the spiders to case.

Cant forget castor bushing is shot. I haven't measured but it looks and drives like it doesnt have any positive castor.

I think ive decided not to do 3 link for now. . The front shocks I might do threaded bodies for that rainy day that I might happen to have parts for a suspension build. Luckily its nearly identical weight compared to my xj . Kinda have dual rate spring rates figured out in my head.

Before that refresh all ujoints axles and drivelines and drive it ohhh and steering ughhh money.

This 300 with ported head and chevy stuff is a tourqe Monster. The carb is a 600cfm holley street avenger that I putt the truck avenger stuff in . Did a steep climb in 4low with no issues.
But ohhh man the xj rides offroad 200% better. This things for sure a old 76 ford truck.
