nice lookin rig you got there.
Thanks. She is a little beat up but works well. I have a 90 XJ I am planning to build to replace her someday. The 90 is a lot straighter and I have a Dana 44 for it. I have not started this project yet because of all the others I have been working on.

Here is what has been taking up my time. Of course I have been wheelin' the crap out of it. This is the wife's Tweety Jeep.

89 XJ, 4.0 L, AW4, NP242, 4.5 Rough Country Lift, 31 MT/Rs

Here is where was started in February 2007

Here is my wife wheelin' the Tweety Jeep last Saturday. This was the first day my wife got the wheel or even drive her XJ. I had been wheelin' it until then since I was swapping 4.0L in mine. She is very happy with her XJ.

1.75" x .120 DOM cage + fully sleeved subframe with cage tie-ins
PRP Comp HB seats + 5pt harness
42" TSL's on H1 double beadlocks
high steer with Full Hydro

Plus lots of little things but I think thats all the big stuff.

Dunno if I will make it the 17th-19th. I broke something on the last obstical of the day and the jeep won't idle now. I think it may be the CPS or maby fuel pump. If I get it running again I might be able to make it.

Ceg i think i recognize some of those jeeps. I think some of the guys from your jeep club were at my grandma's 80th bday party (she's in the lower valley canyon crawlers)

:tears: Sad news. The Molly Mule is dead!

RIP old friend.

I also sold the 90 I was building for the Molly Mule replacement.

The good new is that the wife's Tweety Jeep got some of the Molly Mule parts transplant on it.

This is what we have now:
89 XJ, 4.0 L, AW4, NP242, 4.5 Rough Country Lift, 3.73s, rear Lock Right, 33 MT/Rs, Colemancooler made front bumper, 12,000 Mile Marker, home made roof rack, added stock tire rack, 100 KCs and Tweety Bird seat covers. The last part was not my doings. It is the wife's rig so I guess I should let her have a little say on something.

Cool. I hope Grandma had a good birthday.

I have never gotten to wheel with those guys yet.

she had a blast

they are fun to wheel with, they should be having their big memorial day run coming up soon, knowing them they'll prolly take over the nile park again. grandma'll prolly be out there in my grandpa's old willys.

Well i thought I should add mine to the list since Ive been floating around here for a few months now. Its an 86 wagoneer limited I picked up for 200 bucks with the required rod hangin out the side of the 2.8. I yanked that and droped in a92 chevy vortec cpi 4.3 with 700 r tans and transfer out of an s-10. lift is a mix of store bought and homemade giving me 5.5" running 33's custom long arm home made front bumber with mile marker hyd winch and much more. hope to see you guys on the trails soon.

Been a while since I've been here and I figured I'd give you all a little update.

My trusty xj is no longer, I parted it and began a nearly year long process of building a 90 wrangler...

Started with this-
joe1.sized.jpg

Ended up with this-
joe227.sized.jpg

A couple of pics from Reiter trails-
JoeSix-Nine4.jpg

JoeSix-Nine3.jpg

JoeSix-Nine2.jpg

Drivetrain-renix 4.0, AX-15, 231 crawl box/2speedSTak, Tom Woods Driveshafts, full width locked 60's w/35 spline alloys and 42x14x17 IROKS on Allied 32 bolt beadlocks.

Suspension-106"wheel base, Waggy leafs up front w/shackle reversal/flipped xj's out back. Bilsteins on all four corners.

The rest-there is still a lot to do but its wheel able at this point...Need rear corners , tube fenders, stinger and headlight halo's, seats and harnesses, tie cage into frame and herculine tub. Not much left of the xj, hope I can still hang out with ya'll from time to time. Joe
