Reader's Rig's

Good shot, but I think if you had turned the camera for a vertical shot and not cut off the top of the roof it would have been a REALLY GREAT shot!

Nice Jeep.

Thanks. That is at one of our city parks. I will get a better shot with my new Camera in all its 10MP glory! :D

It looks better like this though:

the vice grips crack me up
did you make the spare tire/star wrench/hilift/tool box mount? it's boss i like it :farmer:

The vice grips are custom built to spec. :D I was planning on making a tire carrier like the one I have now but then I found this one from a member here for $40 couldn't pass it up! Future plans are to run the rear shocks through the floor and tie into the spare mount, two things holding me up though are time and money :( That is a 33x10.5x15 spare I doubt I'd be able to get a bigger one to fit and still use the back seat/close the hatch, but I don't plan on going any bigger anytime soon so it will work for now.

Forgot to add that tool box just happen to slide under the mount and fit perfect so I decided to not switch to another type of tool storage. Just a lucky fit if you ask me. :)

Yay, just joined so I can finally share in the fun.

First day I got it. $900 at my dad's Volvo dealership got me an '89 godawful ugly Limited

So I test drove it, which lead to the purchase, next step was a 3" EZ ride cheapy lift at Les Schwab with some 31" radial A/T. Was never happy with the tires from day one, way to tame looking, and the lift is what it is. I want more, but the 3" at least makes it drivable and pretty badass looking

So, I drove it for a week, threw on a rod on what I thought was going to be a sweetheart of an engine. So, it sat for six months while we pulled the engine out and picked up a '95 block and all the fixins for a 4.6L

Next up, I had to get rid of all the nasty gold moldings and such, plus I picked up a rack. I'm way happier with it just straight white.

Recently, I've pulled the flares, but not quite got around to doing any trimming. I'm not quite sure of my abilities there. We also fabbed up some KC's to the roofrack, and I just put on some 31x10.5 BFG KM2's, which are AWESOME.

So, what would be any suggestions as to the next things I should do?? I'm walking the line between trail rig and daily driver. So, I'll realistically probably never do any extreme rock crawling, but I'd like to be able to tackle some tougher stuff. I know I need to drop the D35 and score a 44 at some point, and I definitely want new front and rear bumpers so I can get some recovery points going and a winch, but it all costs SO MUCH MONEY, damn.
