P0122 tps code

Ok maybe that test needed an analog meter and would have failed. Replaced tps and light is gone. Gas mileage still seems bad but is notnrunning rough anymore. Will check other sensors as well later hopefully before 3hr trip. Would driving with a faulty tps cause any other problems?i drove about a week. It seems like I boogered 2 things right before thosnhappened. Layed my wrench between ac and + welded my wrench.. And I broke my battery (-) to fender lug forna short period. Coincidence? Anyway will check other sensors lster today
