Nobody posted anything about this run yet so I though what the heck..
A few of us headed down on New Years Day to run the Hanging Tree Trail, nothing like wheeling up a Frozen River in the middle of winter. It was an epic trip, one of my favorites. We ended up with 6 rigs out there, other than a broken D30 shaft that we replaced on the trail, I destroyed the sidewall on my front left tire, dented my roof and broke the windshield some more things went great.
I think we made it somewhere between 1/2 to 3/4 of the way through the trail, Not sure exactly though. Basically we made it to the point it was pretty much impassable.
Here is Where we ended....
We opted to go under this tree instead of around, it was a tight squeeze as in the tree was shorter than our roofs.
On the way back out I kept sliding left where it was even shorter, it dented the roof and broke the wind shield. I tried it once more and as the tree pushed down on the Jeep there was a stick about 1-1/2 around pushing against the side wall of the tire... it went through the sidewall of the drivers front tire...
ALL IN ALL AN AWESOME TRIP! I CANT WAIT TO GET BACK!
My brother doing burnouts in the snow.
