Intake manifold heat shield

I've got the DE kit on my 2000 w/ a stroker motor, I can't tell you about how effective it is because I have never experienced any heat soak issues here in Az over the last 21yrs!

I use to get heat soak in my 2000. I wrapped the injectors and fuel line with some thermal tape like this, and have not had a problem since - https://www.amazon.com/Z-Flex-Self-Adhesive-Heat-Reflective-Tape/dp/B07JMHWCPG/
