Two years in the making...........

Since last post- I got the radiator support installed and the radiator.
I got the cam broke in. Engine runs great, just can't wait to drive it.

CAI installed.

Yesterday I decided to dig into the front lighting harness, it was a mess-

I just finished up the light bar and driving light harness-

Each connection has been soldered-

Front wiring is complete, I just need to remove the battery to clean up the wiring and organize it better-

All feeds are 10 gauge wire, including grounds. With exception to a few of the trigger wires.

I did wire the headlights in 12 gauge only because 10g would have been too big at the connectors.

Old extension cords are a great source for automotive wire, strip it out.

I used 10-4 service wire from Lowes, $2 per foot. Very pliable and easy to use.

Bye-bye, Brown Dog.

I got the poly mounts, vibes are INTOLERABLE!!

I found these, IIRC they are for a '97 Camry.

They will also allow me to lower the engine an inch, I need more clearance to get the hood closed.

Next week's project.

I hope you haven't done all that work only to run a spectre filter. Bout the only thing those filter is rocks.

Right now it's the only one that fits.

I'll take another look at AEM and others..................

However, this one replaced the one that was there for 3 years, the other one did alright.

Some interesting things going on here: Do you plan on posting a time slip?

It specifically says that one their website you dope  I'm guessing you ran it in your driveway for three minutes then turned it off disappointed?

Get the rubber inserts or put in a new pair of OEM mounts. They do "break in"

What was the reasoning behind mounting the battery on its side?

No, I'm not moving the battery, just taking it back out to clean up the wiring.

There is a local shop that sells 'blems' for a fraction of the price.

If a new Exide battery has set on the shelf for more than 3 months, Exide takes it back and marks it 'blem', then resells it to select dealers that sell them to the public at a reduced price. Dealer gets a shipping once a week, buyer has to sift through the pallets to find one the works.

This battery fits better lying down, little too tall.

This was a $180 battery that I got for $65, better than 3 years ago.

Will do it again.

Plus its nice to not have to worry about the posts getting too close to the hood or laying a wrench across the post.

And, because I can.
