Driver Window Grinds When Fully Rolled Up

Driver side electric window will roll down and up fine with no issues but once it's rolled all the way up to the top it will start grinding and act like it want to keep rolling up. Are the teeth on the actual motor shot? What all do I need to replace for the guru's that's had this issue?

The only way to know for sure what is going noise to remove the door panel and see what is happening.
To prevent the motor from continuing to run once the window is all the way down or up, there is a circuit breaker, inside the window controller, that opens and shuts off the power once the window reach the end of its run. The rise in amperage, when the rotor is locked, increases greatly and activates the circuit breaker. The circuit breaker may be bad and is allowing the motor to continue running.
The motor's output shaft has a worn gear that may be slipping on the shaft.
Open it up and take a look.
