I have seen guys get creative with getting the parking brake cables on. I just want to hook them up and call it a day. Couple guys have posted parts that are just plug and play like you did. I will probably do a KJ disc swap if I ever do. Why I was curious about which way you went. To be frank not even sure if it makes a difference.
I went with the Flop Shop adapter solution. Cheap and easy. (It did require a little filing to open up the slots in the adapter a bit to be able to fit the cable.) It works just fine, but I sometimes think I may “upgrade” the setup with new cables down the road and ditch the adapters. But, realistically, I’ll probably never bother to do it.

That's a pretty clever idea... never say that before. Only the U bolt type modification of the standard break cables. I didn't like that idea so it took me a while to just swap in new cables that fit properly. I almost never use my Safety Break ... but it's nice to now have one that works properly.
