Rebuild the NV231J

My Transmission failed last week and I am going to get it rebuilt. (2nd tranny)

While I'm at it I will get the Transfer case rebuilt too as it has 440,000 miles on it.

I was thinking of getting the Novak master rebuild kit and have the tranny shop install it.

Is this a good kit or should I consider another kit?

Thanks,
JP

If you are going to pay a tranny shop to do the job why not have them source the parts?

If you provide the parts there will probably be no warranty on the work they do, whereas if they buy the parts it will be warranted. At least, that is how things work in the world I live in.
