So are Diesel prices.
The only consolation is that gas for the Durango is almost a dolla cheaper.
I'm not wanting to get used to $130 fill-ups.

I am so used to dropping $100.00+ every time I fill up it is scary!

This is no BS, When I was 17 my dad and I drove out to Winter Park, Co. he has a 1/2 ton Suburban at the time.
We filled up in Rockford and we filled up in Denver!
It had a 40 gallon tank and it got 35 MPG!
WTF! You would think that the auto makers would improve!
It has been twenty years and I don't know of a full size Suburban that will get 35 MPG now!

Dude...

My dad also had a 3/4 ton (1 ton?) suburban when I was a kid...

I remember it having a number 20 badge on the side(?)...

We rode in that beast to California and back a few times...

and every summer a couple of thousand miles to Central America and back...

I remember him complaining when his gas bill was a few hundred dollars! ($200-$300)

This was the same suburban I flipped onto him and caused the amputation of his right arm...

That 'burban had some bizarre memories attached to it...

We had a 77 F-250 with a 460 police interceptor in it. It got 9mpg. Didn't matter if you were running 80 down the interstate or towing around the farm. JIM.

'69 Road Runner with 440 Magnum.
Don't know what mpg.
Didn't care.

I had a buddy who was a mustang freak.
He had, both at once, a '68 GT-500 w/ 428CJ and a '67 GT-500 w/ the 427 and 22,000 actual miles.
I've often wondered if he kept them.

Tuesday evening, I replaced a cracked hose on some sort of emissions doohickey on the '01. Prior to that, I did a spark plug replacement and air filter cleanup on it last week. Its due for tires soon (90k+ miles outta the factory Goodyears is pretty damned good in my book) so I'm certain I'll have some involvement in that too.
