Aerosmith puts these gems as the last track on the back side of the album from time to tome. These three came to mind. They are in order of album release date.

Aerosmith - Home Tonight"

Not going to do the Springsteen standby for today; F off Bruce; don't think I have any of your albums anyway.

I have too many family members; cousins and in-laws mostly that immigrated to this country legally and then became citizens; most more American than he is. One of the most notable is my cousins wife that came here from Korea. If someone in conversation will refer to here as being Korean she immediately sets their shit straight and tells them she is American, NOT Korean.

I have this on vinyl and on CD. The vinyl album cover opens and closes the left eye (which would actually be the right eye, I suppose) as you remove and insert the record sleeve.

Sweet - "4th Of July"

I'll be damned. They did finally put this on CD. All I have is the vinyl. EDIT: Got it on CD now too :)

Grand Funk Railroad - "We're An American Band"

These are tracks #6 and #7 on Scarecrow.

John Cougar Mellencamp - "The Face Of The Nation"

John Cougar Mellencamp - "Justice And Independence"

Jet - "Come Around Again"

Mellow...I have the CD but this is the only album I have on vinyl that is a half-speed mastered edition.

Boz Scaggs - "We're All Alone"

April Wine - "Just Between You And Me"

Still put on a hell of a show.(2010 Tour)

Meat Loaf - "You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth"

Only one word for this album: Epic.

ZZ Top - "Hot, Blue and Righteous"

Today is a "Been there, done that" set.

Let's go back to the Hollywood Palladium, 1/29/2009. It was a good excuse for Ethan's first concert. ;) It was part of their "Indestructible" tour. Small venue; awesome show. They played with Sevendust and Skindred. Sevendust was off the charts!

Disturbed - "Indestructible"

Saw them at the former (Damned airplane!) Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino, CA. back in 1981; "Never Say Die" tour. :greensmok

Black Sabbath - "The Wizard"

Both again at the former Swing Auditorium. Dates are a little fuzzy

Foghat - "Stone Blue"

Sammy Hagar - "There's Only One Way To Rock"

"Perfect Strangers Tour" Long Beach Arena, February 1985. My brother and I made sure we had a hotel room REAL close by. ;)

Deep Purple - "Perfect Strangers"

Couldn't leave this out. It was a hell of a shroo...err, show ! Blue Öyster Cult used to put on a pretty impressive laser light show; nothing like this show, though.

Deep Purple - "Knocking At Your Back Door"

Judas Priest - "Electric Eye"

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - "You're Gonna Get It"

They nailed it with this album:

Disturbed - "Pain Redefined"

Let's finish things off in memory of the great of Dr. D

Dr. Hook - "Freakers Ball"

I've been trying to remember which song this was for months...been driving me nuts. All I could remember was the bridge at 1:01; not even any of the lyrics. Well, this is it:

Concrete Blonde - "Carry Me Away"

Yup, just that.
