NAXJA's Adopted Trails

2N04 Balky Horse Canyon
2N04 is a great little easy trial USFS rated as moderate although easy for us, please note that all trails may be more difficult at any given time due to weather or environmental conditions. The trail is located on the east side of Big Bear near Onyx Peak. 2N04 runs from Highway 38 to 2N01. It is a very scenic trail with some nice spots for legal dispersed (no fire) camping.

2N49 Bailey Canyon/Monument Peak
2N49 in a USFS rated moderate trail that is normally easily trail for us, please note that all trails may be more difficult at any given time due to weather or environmental conditions. What 2N49 doesn't have in difficulty it has in fantastic views of the inland empire and Lake Silverwood area as it runs along the ridgeline.

For a map of the trail click here.

2N47 Cleghorn Ridge, co-adopted with the Drifters.

THIS IS A GREEN STICKER TRAIL

Cleghorn is one of the big name trails in the San Bernardino National Forest. Most experienced off-roaders in the Southern California area are familiar with it. It's a nominally easy trail for us with optional difficult bypasses. Please note that all trails may be more difficult at any given time due to weather or environmental conditions.

For a map of the trail click here.

We encourage everybody to run the trails whenever they are in the area. Each time you run the trail please pay attention to its condition and report back to this forum with the condition if you should find anything out of order.

We also broom swept part of it as well.

I think it's time for an update. You never put the map/photos for 2N49 and now we have Cleghorn.

Maps up for all three. These are updated Google-powered maps that will allow you to get turn-by-turn navigation to the trailheads.
