Oil smells like gas; no codes

Just pulled my oil after about 1.5k miles because I don’t drive it that often (it’s a camp rig) and it’s been about four months. The oil smelled like exhaust pretty good. However, I pulled a tablespoon and held a match to it but didn’t catch. I’m told some oil smell is normal but the oil (Mobil 1 10w30) is low mileage. However, I went from getting 17-18mpg after changing my o2 sensor back to around 12-14mpg. A bit higher on the freeway.

The Jeep takes a couple seconds to turn over after a few hours, but turns over immediately when hot. I’m wondering. If fuel is leaking into the cylinders causing it to take a moment to burn off before turning over. What can I do to narrow this down or is this normal? I do have a set of remand injectors I’ve been meaning to put in.
