  • Does the CCV line running from the back of the valve covers Closed Crankcase Ventilation valve on a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Classic, 4.0L, 6 cylinder engine SCREW into the manifold or simply pushes over a nipple when it gets to the manifold? I see a nut down there on the manifold and I am not certain if the nut is part of the line OR simply used to hold a nipple in place to receive the line in the manifold!?!? I changed both grommets, front and back BUT snapped the rear line while extracting the HARD grommet in the rear. I used a piece of trans. line OVER the cracked plastic line and some aluminum duct tape to seal up the broken line but I'd like to replace it. I don't dare attempt to PULL the hose off prior to knowing if indeed that it simply PULLS off!? I can't find ANY INFORMATION online about the fitting on the manifold OR a new replacement line. Must be a secret? Thank you.
