Kill switch!
I decided to put one in because I knew someone who had his Jeep stolen. He had many upgrades done and since he didn't tell his insurance about all things he did to the Jeep SOL.
On my older car (69 datsun 510) we just took a positive from the cable. That worked fine, but since my Jeep might be seeing more mud and water I did not want to go though the fire wall. With little research I found out that some people are useing the power for the fuel pump. Yeah why not? This way I don't have to waste my time splicing into the ignition harness.
There are two green wires with a white strips in the driver's side wire bundle. From what I found the smaller gauge green wire is the one that goes to the fuel pump (I may be wrong though in the gauge size). I doubled check the wire I cut was the right by trying to start the Jeep. After that I spliced in my switch by using 14gauge wires and a 20 amp switch.
