T-case skid is loose

My t-case skid has come a little loose and from the feel of the bolts, the self-tappers have stripped out. Is the best solution just to redrill the holes for the self-tappers and reinforce them? Any other suggestions? Please note: I don't really have the budget to go buy a bunch of aftermarket skids.

Factory skid plates are bolted into nut inserts, commonly called nutcerts, rivet nuts, threadserts, etc. Yours have probably lost their grip on the sheet metal. Replacing them with new ones would be the easiest solution.

Get them here - http://www.nutty.com/threatsert.shtml
