My 92 xj keeps dying on me. I let it sit for 30 min and it starts back up. Its like something electrical is getting hot and then cooling down telling it to fire and send fuel. changed the crank sensor. the fuel pump doesnt always kick on when I turn the key on, is it supposed to. also pulled the fuel line and there seemed to be air in the line. I am stumped!!

Dug into it a little more today. Fuel pump is good. I lose spark and fuel pump is intermittent when it heats up. Cleaned ECM points. Since I already replaced the CKP should I jump right to another ECM??

I let everything cool down she cranks right up??????? ECM????

FYI- It turned out it was the ECM. So if you have problems that occur after the truck warms up it could be your ECM. Picked one up for $15 at pull apart. From what I have read it is ussually your CKP, but in this case ECM.

All running well now.
