Flex your Jeep out. Measure the distance between the shock mounting points. Measure them both at full extension and compression. Then find a shock that resembles that in its lengths. Then youll have the shock youll need.
 
gotcha. Would it hurt to get one with a lil more travel?
 
For crawling its all about down travel, but for the fast stuff your gonna want a more equal travel ratio.
 
dar, i do both. SO im torn in the middle haha. how about the valving? i see ones for light, medium and off road.
 
I think majority of people run 255/70 its really personal preference i know people that run all ranges... Search around and find what suits your needs best.

I keep about equal up and down travel and i do just fine in the rocks and in the whoops...
