My '70 F100 farm truck may just get traded in soon... If they are going to really give that much credit for old steel I'd gladly take the extra few thousand in value.
Read it again... anything older than 25 years does not qualify.

I wonder if I could trade the Dodge (tow rig) in, for a new one....
It gets like 14mpg (18 not towing)...
new dodges are supposed to get 25 not towing...

That's what's odd about this; the EPA doesn't rate HD trucks (read 3/4 and up). I don't know how they're going to do it...but I'm fairly certain that saying "new Dodges get 25 mpg" isn't gonna be enough.
