spellcheck and proofreading are a great place to start.
After that I just bought a simple hinged latch and a masterlock from home depot.

If you mod the stock plastic center console to lock it would still be easy as piss to break into.
A metal console is what you want. I am not even sure why the regular gloveboxes lock.
