right now im running 31's with 3.55 and a ax15 and it will go up anythig at idel not giving it any gas and i was wondering if any one is running 33's with 3.55 and a ax15 and how the power and gas mileage is

I can tell you I don't like 33s with 3.55 and an AW4, but that probably doesn't help too much...:)

are you in 4lo doing this?

did you swap in 3.55 axle or the ax-15?

i have a 5spd(ba-10), 31's, and 4.10 and in 4lo i can be in 3 gear and just release the clutch to climb.

for 33's, i would want 4.56 or 4.88 gearing with a 5spd.

yes 33's and 3.55 with a 5spd can be done and its not the end of the world, it just isnt the best setup.

I had 33 3.55s and a ba10 and honestly when i went from 31s to 33s i could barely tell the difference, and i got about 14.5 mpg city.

My situation was 32x11.50x15 3.55 gears and a ax15.....very driveable

Just recently went up to 35x12.50x15 and noticed a little power drop but IMO is still driveable, just have to rev out the gears a bit because they're longer.
I'm sure my gas mileage isn't ideal right now.....nor was it before.

Is this an ideal setup? No.Is it tolerable?Yes.

I ran my MJ with 33's/3.55/AX-15, it wasn't bad at all. hills were a little slow but she could still scoot
