After looking at my Haynes manual and comparing to my '00 XJ - I was puzzled to say the least at how to loosen/replace my badly frayed/cracked serp belt. There are more bolts on this thing than the manual shows, plus the adjuster bolt ...
So what to do - well... a couple of SEARCHes (first one was way too specific) on
and about 10 minutes of reading yielded just what I needed - photos, advice, etc...
I got my old belt off and the new one on/adjusted in less 30 minutes, including the search on! You guys rock!!!!
