Hey gang, can a clogged CatConv or Muffler cause blow by in the engine?

Worn piston rings and valve guide seals cause blow-by. If the vacuum hose on the rear of the valve cover is plugged up oil will blow into the filter pretty bad through the front valve cover hose.

A plugged cat will not appreciably effect blowby.

With only 10K on a brand new crate engine, you'd figure this wouldn't happen.
