9 inch brake swap

I was walking the yards today and ran across a 1976 Lincoln Mark IV with a rear disks. I’m trying to do a rear disk swap on a late big bearing 31 spin 9 inch out of a 1985 Ford F150 and was wondering if the setup off the Lincoln would swap over giving me the disks I want. Any insight would be great thanks.

doesn't the lincoln have a small bearing rear end on it?

I think I looked at those when I was looking around for a rear brake setup and decided it was not worth it.

I pulled an extra set of shafts out of one of the lincolns and out of a ford ranchero which I think has the same rear end in it. And the bearings were small bearing ends.

Get the explorer disc brakes for the F150 style 9" rear end, they work good and well balanced with the jeep front..
