TJ drag link interchangeable?

Is a TJ drag link interchangeable with an xj? I have a 98 xj and have an 06 drag link I want to put in. The reason I want to swap it is because I am putting in a drop pitman arm and a steering stabilizer and the stabilizer is already attached to the tj drag link, so I figured it would be easier to just swap that in. Plus my adjustment sleeve does not want to adjust, so my steering wheel is way off center.

Also, is the TJ drag link any beefier than the xj?

I run a gusseted TJ drag link on my '99. The only difference I could tell was the mounting hole for the stabilizer was clocked backwards a little more.
