Good deal on engine?

I've got a 96 that's showing signs of a blown head gasket and has 174k miles on it... came across this on Craigslist and wanted the gauge cluster as mine is burnt out. Then I figured... hey, this one only has 107k miles. If i'm going through the trouble of fixing a blown gasket, why not just replace the whole thing with 70k less miles...

Is this a good deal for an engine? Thoughts/concerns... thanks!

I would say that is a very fair deal on a low-ish mile engine, especially if you can talk him down a hair more

I would say a little on the high side. I wouldn't go over $300 for it. I just bought a 98 4.0 with 122k on it for $150 but I haven't started it yet! :roll:
