Dealing with cancer

Rust that is. My flo' was getting just about fred flintstone style.

So I broke out some old sheetmetal and formed it to sorta match the curves.

And welded that puppy up!

Threw on some paint, and viola! No more fred flintstone.

It ain't exactly what you would expect from a master body man (cuz I'm not) but it'll git 'er done.
 
Wanna come do mine? Have to make a new tranny tunnel on the beast.

Actually it was some sheetmetal I rescued from a dumpster. It caught my eye and called to me. It said "come take me" so I went dumpster diving and found my new floorboards. And I saved ann innocent bunch of sheetmetal from the fate of the dump. The cool thing is it's thicker than the existing floorboards so it should last longer and hopefully block a little more noise.
 
Yeah, I'm afraid to pull up my passenger side carpet.
