what gears should i get?

the gears i have now are 3.55 5 speed ax-15 with 32s (going 33's later)
what gears do you think would be good for some rock. 4.11 or 4.56
also i dont want to be stuck in the slow lane eather.

Did you try the following?
FAQ: What gear ratio do I want?

If you plan on going to anything bigger later, do the 4.56s.
Side note, ditch the D35 if that is what you have for a rear axle, it is not worth spending any coin on.

thanks-no i didnt see that link ,im a newbe,
i put in an XJ d44 and a d30 non vac just getting to the good stuff:cheers:

anyone know what my rpm would be at 70mph if i put the 4.56 gears in on the freeway till i get 33's ?

4:56s and dont look back. and you should be between 2600-2800.

I got 4.56 in mine with 32's and an auto, I like it a lot, that's what I would roll with!

i have 4.10 with 31's and a 5spd on my 89. with 33's, go with 4.56 and dont look back. even if the charts say 4.10 is closer to stock, i wouldnt do it with 33's
