While preping the jeep for the OBA removing all the a/c stuff I found the stock pressure switch that goes to the a/c, does any one know what it's rated at? What psi it starts and stops at? I want to have one that is 90on and about 120-130 off and if the stock one does that then why not use it.

O and that switch your talking about I think is the safety so the clutch will not turn the pump on if the freon is to low.

Why would you use that switch instead of one made for 12 volt and that are half the price? I just ordered mine yesterday and it came out to $20.08 shipped.

I have used one before on a 12 volt system. But hell for $20.00 I would rather use the style you ordered. Do you have a link to the place you ordered it from?

Yeah no problem. You just got to think outside the off roading world. Check out http://www.suicidedoors.com or http://www.airbagit.com I ordered mine from airbagit.com. Oh yeah, they have everything you would need and are cheaper than most off road places too.

If you guys are doing all of this, I can get you onboard air fitting stuff from VIAIR too, pressure switches of various ratings, pressure regulators...etc...

If the compressor and lines will handle it, I'd be running something like 130-150psi off with a pressure regulator to maintain whatever pressure you want to run your tools or tire filling at for best CFM results.

Got a switch today, I also found some fittings that fit the top of my York 210 compressor that convert it to #10 jic flair fittings.
