My brother has been offered a very good condition '96 XJ Cherokee 2.5i MPI with petrol engine. The thing is that the previous owner let the car run out of oil and the engine got cramped (don't know the correct english word, sorry). The thing is that the engine dosen't start or run.
On the other hand, we've been offered an engine removed from a YJ '89 Wrangler SPI. I was wondering wether the engine swap would be possibly, as I pretend to use the injetion, ECU and everything else from the XJ. Maybe a cheaper option than repairing the broken engine...!!!!
