Adjusting the Liftgate

I noticed this morning that the body gap between the liftgate (closed) and the rear bumper. The liftgate is high on the passenger side, so I think I need to adjust it.

I know there are two bolts per side. Is there any trick besides loosening those bolts slightly and messing with it till it's right?

are you sure your bumper isn't crooked a little???

maybe take some messurements it might be the bumper to my knowledge there isn't alot of adjustment for the hatch

Thanks for the suggestion about the bumper & measuring. It feels like the top of the liftgate sits alittle higher than roof line on the side with the wider body gap at the bumper. I suspect that it just needs to be moved down a bit.

But I'll measure first to be sure.
