Does anybody sell Dual rate coil or leaf springs not in a coilover setup just the normal setup. Because i need a soft rate for cruising in the city DAILY DRIVER and a tougher one for offroading but i cant afford coilovers right now I was thinking of 150/200 rate ?

Deaver spring makes progressive rate coils but they are not"dual rate", they are tighter wound towards the bottom for higher speed/higher damping set-up. they are made for the jeepspeed rigs if you call them and ask about them.

well not springs but rancho has an adjustable shock system and maybe procomp makes one i cant remember but you can adjust the rate of the shocks if that helps any

I was thinking why doesnt anybody use two coils with different rates with a coil spacer in between just like a coilover but without the inside shock anybody tried that?

The coil-over shock provides necessary structure for a dual coil setup. Without the shock body there would be nothing to keep the springs concentric, or together at all for that matter. A progressive rate coil like that mentioned by Skullvarian would be as close as you are going to get without a coil-over.
