I got in my 93 xj this morning and it ran fine for a guarter mile then i stopped and it tryed to die its an auto so i dont know why it did it but when i started going again it would chug or rock i guess you would say but when i got on it fast it would stop and drive fine i couldnt find a thread like this so im posting one sorry if there is another

Could by any number of things.
Idiot lights or gauges?
Do you have a OBDI code reader?

Check your TPS, may have developed a flat spot.
