This sounds fishy to me i received this through the NW autos classifieds.
I know there's alot of foreign country cashiers check scams out there...

Thanks for the email. I have a customer who is very much interested in
buying your car. He happened to budget for a car last time and
unfortunately it was sold. I have discussed with him and he has agreed that he
will be willing to have the car shipped to his place which is Canada, he
would have be present in this transaction but due to the nature of his
business, he cant be able.
Again I have some questions to ask:
1.Has the car ever been repainted?
2. Do you have the title papers?
3. Any accident record.
4. What is your last offer?
I will be awaiting hearing from you as soon as possible.
Regards.......
Danny

I just replied and said he must pay in cash in person... this has to be a scam

Has every characteristic of the normal scam email.

Terrible engrish (heh)
Buyer not in town, but will ship on his dime...
"What is your last offer"

been there, done that

The ones that put lists that are general enough for any item or vehicle are normally scams.

scam.

and if its a lifted rig, good luck getting it over the border if it is legit, we ended up having to un-lift a truck a canadian customer bought because he couldn't take it across the border with it lifted, after a certain year vehicle registered in canada have to have daytime running lights, can't be lifted over a certain height, lowered x amount etc. Import laws are a trip, definately an added step when selling a vehicle.

Don't even reply to those, you end up getting on email list for random crap half the time.

If they don't mention anything specific about your vehicle and they ask for any info that was already obviously in the ad, I call it a scam.
