ok so I have a project '99 XJ engine in a '90 XJ body. When I go to start it, it will turn over and run for about 3-4 seconds and then shut off. Now if I start it and continuously tap the gas it will run, but very rough. One suggestion was the magnetic pick up under the distributor, another suggested the idle air control sensor. I wanted to check with you guys and get another idea or suggestion. Thanks!
