O2 sensor circuit help

I have a check engine code that says something to the effect of "Voltage above normal operating levels".
I disconnected both sensors, reset engine computer, it still gives me the same code.
So i feel i have a short somewhere in my o2 circuit.
I have visually checked the wires that i can see from underneath my XJ for visible damage. Does anyone know where these wires come out under the hood?

You are sure the O2 sensor is functioning correctly ? Have you tested it ?

Post year and engine and exact code number(s) for the most accurate responses.

Your problem could be the sensor itself. As Tim mentioned, they could be tested if you're so inclined.

PM sent, you are welcome. If I had the DTC # it would be more helpfull.
