Front hitch winch adapter

Anyone have experience with these:

Trying to consider options for a winch without going for a winch bumper and lugging the bumper around 24-7.

Never used it, but I think it would be a good idea if that is what your after, I think it will look funny, but if only on the trail, go for it. I am sure it will mess up your approach angles quite a bit however.
 
A couple guys here in the NW run a similar setup. PM GI John. Also Slacker87XJ, XJLaredo, and maybe a few more run a front hitch. That may be an option I might consider myself, if the Heep doesn't become a tralier queen. :D
 
I have a warn one and it is really awesome to be able to move it from front to back if there aren't any anchors in one direction. Whenever I am not using it, it goes in the back cargo area and I have a cheap 2" receiver type thing to hold it down.
