Bumper question

I have a detour rear bumper and one of my mounting bolts won't go in do to the nut being stripped. I was wondering if that would be a problem if I need to be pulled out using the bumper? Arn't many tow points only mounted with a couple bolts? The more the marrier, obviously. I just want to make sure my bumper isn't going to be ripped out on a pull.
