Rubber stripping on bottom of door

I have two xj's -- one 95 and one 98. My 95 has a rubber strip along the bottom of the doors that keeps water from coming in whilst driving through puddles and getting it washed. My 98 does not have that same rubber strip. My 98 doors rust at the bottom like nothing else and I'm sure it doesn't help that the water pools up on the inside door frame.

Is the rubber strip on the 95 standard issue or was it added before I bought it? Does anyone know where I can get those same rubber strips to put on my 98?

You should be able to find rubber molding at Autozone or Checker. I would look at your '95 and try to find something that looks similar. Not sure what you would use to glue it in with but they must have something. If you need help let me know.
