I have not heard about this, but I was reading an article about shackles.. and it mentioned that bushings with sleeves resists against bushing deflection. So, I want more info on this.. do people run bushings without the sleeves ? yah or nay for this mod ?

All the older dodge vans i looked at for building my bastard pack had no sleeves in the shackle end bushing. just rubber!

You can acomplish the same thing with a set of greaseable bushings.

Where do I get a set of greaseable bushings with no sleeves ? are these poly or rubber ?
Any more info on this ? I remember seeing a photo in a 4x4 mag many years ago, this rig was flexing over a rock.. and the photo was a close up of the shackle and the spring, the bushing was smooched about half way out !
